Stichting Kinderpostzegels Nederland keeps a close watch to ensure that the money that comes in is spent properly and always benefits the children who need it. Institutions and organisations only receive funding from Kinderpostzegels if they submit a good plan. They also need to report back on the project’s progress and concrete results need to be demonstrated. Kinderpostzegels has a network of advisers abroad, who follow the projects’ progress from close at hand.

As an organisation Kinderpostzegels is audited by the accountancy firm Ernst & Young. Kinderpostzegels meets the guidelines of the Central Bureau for Fundraising and has also been awarded the CBF-Keurmerk (seal of approval).
