CBF-Keur

Stichting Kinderpostzegels Nederland carefully monitors the spending of the money received to ensure that it always benefits children who really need it. Institutions and organizations only receive financial support from Kinderpostzegels when they have submitted a good and thorough plan how to assist these children. They also have to report frequently and clearly on how the project is proceeding and concrete results need to be demonstrated. For its work abroad Kinderpostzegels has a large network of advisers who screen and monitor the projects closely.

As an organization, Kinderpostzegels is audited by the accountancy firm of Ernst & Young. Kinderpostzegels meets the guidelines of the Central Desk for Fundraising (CBF) and therefore has also received the CBF-keurmerk. This hallmark is awarded to organisations that raise funds for good causes in a sound manner. One criterion is that fundraising expenses should not exceed 25% of all income, i.e. not more than 25 eurocents may be spent to raise 1 Euro.
