During the visit to Senegal young performers from ISH organised a dance-theatre project, in which the Dutch and Senegalese young people all took part. This theatre project was one of the main themes of the exchange. All young people come from projects which got financial support of Kinderpostzegels.

Aim
Kinderpostzegels organised the exchange to provide the young people with inspiration and ideas that they could use from their underprivileged situation to create opportunities for themselves. Young people in the Netherlands solve problems differently from young people in Senegal. Exchanges provide the opportunity to discuss each other’s way of thinking and social environment, and come up with new initiatives.

Projectvoorbeeld India

Randhir (10): Op school heb ik leren lezen in braille. Jammer genoeg waren er alleen maar leerboeken dus ik kon niet gewoon voor mijn plezier lezen. Maar nu wel! Van 'The All India Confederation of the Blind' mocht ik helpen kiezen welke brailleboeken aangeschaft werden. Niet zo moeilijk, Harry Potter natuurlijk!
