Kinderpostzegels and Hallmark are taking their collaboration to the next level. This year, children were invited to contribute ideas for the design of the holiday cards sold during the Kinderpostzegels campaign. During a creative workshop, the children got to work and created their own cards. Their ideas and designs inspired the new collection that Hallmark developed for us.
The Children's Stamp Campaign has been a household name in the Netherlands for decades. Every year, more than a hundred thousand children go door-to-door to raise money for their peers. Besides children's stamps, they also sell other products such as bandages, themed cards, and holiday cards. Hallmark has been our official card partner since last year.
Involving children in what we do
Kinderpostzegels is the charity organization with and for children. The organization involves children in its work whenever possible. "Children find it important to do something for other children, and it makes them happy," says Sofie Vriends, director of Kinderpostzegels. "That's why it was a logical step to involve them in the creative process behind the holiday cards."
Jan Willem Koch, managing director of Hallmark, adds, "We are especially proud of the collection that was co-created with the children. Their pure vision of what the holidays are truly about and the wishes they express for other children are heartwarming. The creative workshop featured stories about decorating the Christmas tree, hot chocolate, and gifts, but above all, about being together with friends and family." The Children's Stamp Campaign runs from September 24th to October 1st. New this year, after the campaign ends, the holiday cards will be available not only through the Kinderpostzegels and Hallmark webshops, but also in 750 physical stores throughout the Netherlands. This increases the impact of the Children's Stamp Campaign and allows even more people to contribute to the charity.

Children's Stamps and Hallmark join forces to combat loneliness
The theme of this year's children's stamp campaign is "Together in Action Against Loneliness." Hallmark developed the theme cards for this year, in addition to the holiday cards. Jan Willem Koch explains: "This year's theme cards are specially designed to let people know in a positive way that they are not alone. They also incorporate a nod to the phenomenon of puzzles, and separate elements that fit together create a new shape within the design."

Our partnership with Hallmark is based on shared values like caring, connection, and the desire to help children who are left to fend for themselves. By joining forces, they hope to inspire people to do something for others.
