Kinderposttempels launches single 'Superkracht' with Children for Children NXT and Armin van Buuren

BNNVARA presents the new pop group 'Kinderen voor Kinderen NXT'. The group of twelve children consists of former choir members of Kinderen voor Kinderen and is specifically for children aged 10 to 13. Together with Kinderpostzegels, NXT is launching the single 'Superkracht' today, which is also the theme of 100 years of Kinderpostzegels. The music was produced by one of the Netherlands' most successful DJs ever: Armin van Buuren.

NXT makes taboos for teenagers discussable and encourages them to discover who they are. The song 'Superkracht' (Superpower) is about believing in yourself and about resilience: the superpower in your head and heart that helps you cope with difficult situations. Kinderpostzegels has been working for 100 years to strengthen children's resilience and the message of this song fits perfectly with that. The music was produced by Armin van Buuren and the lyrics were written by singer-songwriter Lars Koehoorn and executive producer Willem Laseroms.

Armin van Buuren: "Most people know me, of course, as a DJ and producer, but I am also 'just' a father of a daughter and a son," explains Armin van Buuren. "During a studio session, an idea emerged that fits very well with Kinderen voor Kinderen, and I immediately felt called to do something with it. This song is for Kinderpostzegels, which supports children who are having a difficult time. It's wonderful to be able to contribute to such a great cause, and I hope that children will feel supported by the music."
