Kinderpostzegels joins the Poverty Alliance as a core partner

From early 2026, Kinderpostzegels will be a core partner of the Child Poverty Alliance. This means we are joining the other core partners, the Netherlands Centre for Youth Health (NCJ) and the Nutrition Centre. Together, we will ensure that the network continues to expand and remains active and connected. Alles is Gezondheid and Sterk uit Armoede are also represented in the alliance's core team.

A major challenge lies in strengthening families struggling with financial stress. As a core partner, we want to change the system within the alliance that currently perpetuates inequality of opportunity and poverty. Sofie Vriends, director at Kinderpostzegels, says: "The fact that so many parties within the Child Poverty Alliance are jointly committed to combating child poverty is unique and powerful. At the same time, we know that the impact can be many times greater if we further strengthen cooperation. And that is sorely needed, because growing up in poverty leaves traces that remain visible throughout life. That is why, as Kinderpostzegels, we will continue to commit ourselves with conviction to this alliance and to the children it concerns in the coming years."

In the upcoming period, we will work on a sharpened strategy for the coming years. The goal is that no child should suffer from growing up in poverty.
