Kinderpostzegels and Madurodam Children's Fund invite children to film with Dylan Haegens
The film 'Superpowers for your Mind' had its special children's preview on Saturday, June 29, to a full house in Madurodam. Kinderpostzegels and the Madurodam Children's Fund invited 150 children from the South Holland region who deserved a fun day out for whatever reason. The film 'Superpowers for your Mind' teaches children how to better cope with their emotions and difficult events. Dylan Haegens, YouTuber, director of the film, and one of the main actors, was present along with scriptwriter Marit Haegens-Brugman to introduce the film.
'Superpowers for your Mind' is about Lev (Finn Vogels), a megafan of superhero Healix, who defeats supervillain Snotman (Dylan Haegens) in the most spectacular ways. In Lev's dreams and when he games, he can do anything, but in real life, he is insecure because he has difficulty walking. Together with his grandmother, who dares anything, he goes on an adventure to meet the real Healix and show his superpower to the world. Besides Dylan and Finn, Elise Schaap, Bas Hoeflaak, and Jeroen Spitzenberger also have roles in the film.

Kinderpostzegels is committed to helping children who face poverty, loneliness, or problems at home and therefore lack a good foundation for resilience.
Madurodam Children's Fund
Stichting Madurodam Kinderfonds, Madurodam's charitable fund, has co-financed the film 'Superpowers for your Mind'. Since its establishment, the fund annually donates 600,000 euros to projects and (own) activities that inspire and motivate children and young people to connect with others, become active, and do something for others to make society a little better.
'Superpowers for your Mind' will be released on July 10 by Splendid Film in Dutch and Belgian cinemas. The film was produced by Newbe in collaboration with Haegens Media and is based on the bestseller 'Superpowers for your Mind' by Wouter de Jong, who also co-wrote the script with Marit Haegens-Brugman. Dylan Haegens directed the film.
