With the project 'Tackling loneliness among primary school children,' we aim to timely identify and prevent serious loneliness in the upper grades. By increasing awareness and knowledge among teachers and parents, and by offering practical tools, the project contributes to a structural approach to loneliness. The approach aligns with existing guidelines from, among others, the Trimbos Institute and Join Us, and enhances social safety in schools.
The approach consists of various elements:
- Research: 'How can we prevent loneliness?'
- Survey on loneliness among 65,000 children
- Follow-up research: 'Break loneliness in the classroom'
- Tools 'Tackling loneliness in primary schools'
